My name is Dejair Micheluti, and my nickname is DJ. I am 59 years old, and I’m from Brazil (Santa Catarina State). I started learning English because it is my challenge. I had an opportunity to study English in 1986, but I didn’t take it. I believe this is the ideal time in my life to begin this challenge.

Languages International is a fantastic school. The school offers an excellent environment, tools and structure, so the students can develop their abilities in speaking, listening, writing and reading. The school has highly qualified and experienced teachers which makes it easier to learn English. There are different classes where the students study according to their English level. There is a big Learning Centre where the students can do further study always with the supervision of a teacher.

The cultural diversity at Languages International is interesting because the students come from different countries.  The cultural exchange was amazing.
Also, there are different social program activities every time. I enjoyed it a lot. I like the atmosphere of the school and how we are treated.  Languages International simply taught me the first steps in English. Those steps were too important in my life. Today I’m independent in New Zealand because I can communicate in English.

Auckland is a cosmopolitan city. My accommodation was organised through Languages International. The choice was simply perfect because the family was hand-picked. The school takes a lot of care with this. I have lived with the the same family since January 2018.

There are a lot of things to see and to do in New Zealand. I’m passionate about its nature and weather. The beaches, mountains, museums, are too beautiful.  Extreme sports are a good option if you like adrenaline. I went skydiving, paragliding, parasailing and rafting (incredible). I travelled to different parts of New Zealand like the Coromandel, Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Waiheke, Whangarei, Christchurch and Greymouth.
