Hello, my name’s Donata Guignet. I come from Tahiti, French Polynesia. I heard about Languages International from my best friend, Jo Bone from Dunedin, University of Otago Language Centre and I don’t regret it at all.

Indeed, it’s a very good school. It’s because of the management, the staff like Charlene and Kate, and all the teachers that I had: Daniel, Sally and especially Paul, that I loved this course, because he has a way of teaching that, for me, is exceptional. Not only is he very close to his students, but I also learned a lot with him about the pronunciation of words or phrases, and I remember a lot of vocabulary.

Learning English also requires the individual effort of the student. In my case, from Tuesday to Friday mornings I was always in the Learning Center, and sometimes after the classes too. We are lucky to have teachers there to help us.

I was only here for three weeks. It’s short, I know, but that was because I only had one month of holidays. So on Saturdays, I went to the library to study again. That’s why I changed my accommodation, to be closer to school and to study a lot. It’s a good thing for students who have a long stay here to live in a homestay to have more English practice, more conversation, but for me, only being here for a short time, I didn’t want to spend my time taking a bus, but I liked my homestay family.

Anyway, I would like to thank everybody, management, staff, teachers. It was a great experience for me. I will never forget this special moment. If I have friends who want to improve their English, I’ll recommend Languages International school without hesitation.

Kind regards,
Donata
