Cid Não Salvo at Languages International
Super-blogger, Cid, (left) with our student, Nicolau, at Languages International

Congratulations to Brian the Cats good friend, Cid @NaoSalvo, who has just been named one of the top 100 most influential people in Brazil! If you have been following our Facebook page, you’ll know that Cid is the Brazilian super-blogger that visited Languages International last month.

The list was compiled by Epoca, the Brazilian equivalent of Time magazine. Other people named in the top 100 alongside Cid include former president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva; current president, Dilma Rousseff; the Archbishop of São Paulo, Dom Odilo Scherer; and the World Cup-winning Brazilian football manager, Luiz Felipe Scolari.

A reliable source has informed us that this week Cid was also named one of the top five most desirable men on his floor of the apartment building where he lives and one of his mother’s top three favourite children. It has been a big week for Cid.

Look out for more about Cid’s trip to New Zealand here on the blog next week.
