Languages International is a signatory to the Ministry of Education’s Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. - New Zealand Qualifications Authority
The school is registered by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). The courses are accredited by the NZQA and Languages International has attained a three-year audit cycle, which is the highest NZQA rating. - Cambridge English Language Assessment - Since 1988.

Languages International was the first New Zealand institution to gain approval as a Cambridge Teacher Training Centre.

Study Travel Magazine Star Awards: English Language School – Southern Hemisphere
The Southern Hemisphere category was created in 2007. Every year, language travel consultants around the world vote for their “Star” school in Australia, South Africa or New Zealand, and 5 schools from the region are shortlisted. Languages International has been in the top 5 every year, and in 2008 won the award.
