Last week Languages International Christchurch staff held a special event – “Pink Day”.
Curious as to why they chose this particular day and colour I asked what their inspiration had been. I got three different (and interesting) answers:
– Pink was chosen “as it is not a color of the rainbow and is vastly underrated”
– The colour was also chosen because one day coincidentally three teachers all wore pink to school. Two of the other teachers (feeling a bit left out) asked whether pink had become the school uniform. One thing lead to another, and the staff decided to have a Pink Day.
– According to zen philosophy, there doesn’t have to be a reason. It just is.
So there you have it! The Christchurch staff are already planning their next “day”. They are going to have a Caption Day – all the staff will wear a caption, so check back here soon for photos.
